Contemporaneity of the myth between life and art

Narcissus, May 19 to June 19, is the opening exhibition of the partnership project between the new Art Division of Turin Castello Reale Mutua main agency based in the Tower Center in Piazza Castello 111 in Turin, and CRAG Chiono Reisovà Art Gallery, newborn gallery in Turin, located in the post-industrial Piero della Francesca Center.

Site of exhibition is the Tower Center Turin Castle, in the heart of the City, a versatile and technological work space that, not only represents major brands such as Reale Mutua and Lloyd’s of London, but is now open for exhibitions and events, as deeply desired by the founder of TURIN CASTLE, Giuseppe Ruscica.

The new Art Division was created with the intention of combining the passion for the culture and the love for our city through a real network that allows people to admire important works of art from private collections and works by emerging artists.

The Tower Center Turin Castle, for its strategic location and the type of initiatives that will host, set itself the goal of becoming a meeting point for the people of Turin (but not only …) and artists from around the world. For the launch of this project, at such an important time for Turin as Italian capital of contemporary art, TURIN CASTLE ART chose CRAG that with its  style and its proposals will become a point of reference.

The Partnership with CRAG means finding the excellences, combining the skills acquired in their fields of activity with he will to innovate with dedication and attention.

The common thread of the exhibition is the “Friendship in the Art”, meant not only as friendship, but also as generosity and cooperation.

In this first experience a work of art will act as a guide, a Narcissus of the first half of the seventeenth century attributed to Francesco Ragusa, kindly loaned by Robilant + Voena Gallery (Milan-London-St.Moritz) around which Elisabetta Chiono selected the works of emerging artists of his gallery and others with which she cooperates to reflect on the theme.

The result? A way of making art in unusual places, attentive to the quality of the artists, beyond the trends, in the belief that the experience proposed to the public is or primary importance. The exhibition is therefore a journey between meetings, conversations, memories, desires and reflections shared in spaces that are alive with like minded people ready to challenge themselves.

Contemporaneità del mito tra vita e arte

Narciso, 20 maggio – 19 giugno, è la mostra di apertura del progetto di partnership tra la nuova Divisione Arte di Torino Castello Agenzia Principale di Reale Mutua con sede nel Tower Center in Piazza Castello 111 a Torino, e CRAG Chiono Reisovà Art Gallery, neonata galleria in Torino, situata nell’area post-industriale nel Centro Piero della Francesca.

Sede di mostra è il Tower Center Torino Castello, nel cuore della Città, spazio di lavoro tecnologico versatile che, oltre a rappresentare brand importanti come Reale Mutua e Lloyd’s di Londra, viene da oggi aperto a mostre ed eventi, così come fortemente voluto dal fondatore di Torino Castello, Giuseppe Ruscica.

La nuova Divisione Arte nasce con l’intento di unire la passione per la cultura e l’amore per la nostra Città attraverso un vero e proprio network che consenta di ammirare pregiate opere provenienti da collezioni private e lavori di artisti emergenti.

Il Tower Center Torino Castello, per la posizione strategica e la tipologia di iniziative che ospiterà si pone l’obiettivo di diventare un punto d’incontro tra i torinesi (ma non solo…) e gli artisti di tutto il mondo. Per il lancio di questo progetto, in un momento così importante per Torino capitale dell’arte contemporanea italiana, TORINO CASTELLO ART ha scelto CRAG che con il proprio stile e con le proprie proposte diventerà un sicuro punto di riferimento.

La Partnership con CRAG significa fare eccellenza unendo le competenze acquisite nei propri campi di attività alla volontà di innovare con dedizione e attenzione.

Il filo conduttore delle mostre proposte è la Friendship in the Art, intesa non solo come amicizia, ma anche come generosità e collaborazione.

In questa prima esperienza verrà proposta un’opera guida, un Narciso della prima metà del Seicento attribuito a Francesco Ragusa, gentilmente concesso in prestito dalla Galleria Robilant+Voena (Milano-Londra-St.Moritz) intorno alla quale Elisabetta Chiono ha selezionato i lavori degli artisti emergenti della sua galleria e di altri con i quali collabora per riflettere sul tema.

Il risultato? Un modo di far arte in luoghi non usuali, attento alla qualità degli artisti, al di là delle tendenze, nella convinzione che sia importante l’esperienza proposta al pubblico. La mostra è quindi un libero viaggio tra incontri, conversazioni, ricordi, desideri e riflessioni condivisi in spazi vivi con persone che ci credono e si mettono in gioco.
